What is Modular Construction?
Modular is a method of construction in which a building is built in pieces or “modules” at an off-site location, in a controlled environment and then delivered and assembled for completion on site.
Modular buildings follow the same building code as site-built structures and must be engineered by a licensed engineer and submitted, inspected and approved by the State agency in which the building will be located.
